Straight Edge: MTBA-28

It may be defined as the straight edge approximately 3 meters in length lateral surface regularity of a road surface. This lightweight apparatus is made up of mild steel or aluminum and is equally supported at both ends producing a set height between the road surface & the beam. Any vertical irregularity is measured using incremented wedges.

• The Finishing Straightedge a nib 5mm long (tolerance 0.2mm), and 0.5mm high (tolerance +0,-0.05mm)
• The working edges are the opposite thin edges on the longest lengths of the straightedge.
• The straightedge and 22.5mm from each working edge of the straightedge, with a tolerance of 0.2mm.
